MMSF Top 10 Week 13

Every Monday here on the Blog - and later on MMSF - we unveil our top 10 in college football. These rankings are based on this week only, this is not a prediction on the season will end. Click here to see the latest rankings in the Associated Press and Coaches Polls.
  1. Auburn - 12-0 (2) - I don't care what year it is and I don't care what the level of competition is, whenever a team goes undefeated through the SEC, said team is No. 1 in my book. Cam Newton is amazing and the Tigers, for this week, are the top team.
  2. Oregon - 11-0 (1) - There is no chance the Ducks lose to in-state rival Oregon State this weekend, right? There is no chance that Auburn loses to South Carolina this weekend too, right?
  3. TCU - 12-0 (4) - We're one more crazy weekend away from the possibility of the Horned Frogs playing for the national championship. You think QB Andy Dalton and the TCU defense is up for a game like that? Think again.
  4. Stanford - 11-1 (6) - The Cardinal have one of the best defenses in the country and they have Andrew Luck as QB. In a playoff Stanford would be the 'hot team no one wants to play.'
  5. Boise State - 10-1 (3) - One missed field goal kept the Broncos away from a possible BCS title game or the Rose Bowl. Ouch.
  6. Wisconsin - 11-1 (6) - I actually hate putting Scony here, what with the Badgers running up the score like crazy (83 against Indiana, 70 against Northwestern). The thing is though, Wisconsin is playing too well not to reward them. In all honesty, it doesn't matter who is ranked here or lower.
  7. Ohio State - 11-1 (10) - The Buckeyes fall in the middle of the Big 10 teams.
  8. Michigan State - 11-1 (NR) - And the Spartans round out the Big 10 Three.
  9. Arkansas - 10-2 (NR) - The more games the Buffalo Bills win the less likely it becomes we all hear, 'The Buffalo Bills select Ryan Mallett' in April.
  10. Oklahoma - 10-2 (NR) - The Sooners beat Oklahoma State in Bedlam and should win the Big 12 title next weekend. Their reward? The Connecticut Huskies!
