MMSF Power 10 Week Thirteen

Every Tuesday here on the Blog, and later on the show, we unveil our Matt Mc's Sports Fix Power 10. This is a snap shot of the top tier of teams in the league based on the games played to this point. Do you agree or disagree with these rankings? Email us at mattmcsportsfix@yahoo.com to have your thoughts read on air!
  1. New England 10-2 (1) - Is there any question as to which team is the best right now? Good God did the Pats dismantle the Jets on Monday night. It's beginning to look a lot like winter outside in the North Country and it's beginning to look a lot like a Patriots Super Bowl in the NFL.
  2. Atlanta 10-2 (2) - The AFC is likely to go through New England and the NFC is just as likely to go through Atlanta. Even after ten wins I still don't buy into the Falcons. Yet.
  3. Pittsburgh 9-3 (5) - Their offensive line is in shambles, Ben Roethlisberger has a broken nose and maybe a broken foot, and still they just win games. How loaded will the AFC playoff be by the way?
  4. New Orleans 9-3 (6) - It will be interesting to see how the NFC South plays out with both the Saints and the Falcons fighting for the division. The more New Orleans plays the more I believe they could win it all, again.
  5. New York Jets 9-3 (2) - Are you serious? The biggest regular season game in franchise history and the Jets lose by 42 points? On Monday Night Football? I still believe that New York is one of the better AFC teams, but there is no getting the taste of this clunker out of your mouth.
  6. Chicago 9-3 (7) - Jay Cutler has thrown five TDs and zero picks in the last two games and the Bears are probably two more win away from at least an NFC Wild Card bid. Chicago, for what's worth, has not lost since I picked them to lose to Buffalo (5-0).
  7. Philadelphia 8-4 (8) - Hard to believe, but the Eagles played a game last week. I think we all forget about the Thursday nighters, but Philly beat Houston and Mike Vick threw for 300 plus yards and was the leading rusher for his Eagles.
  8. Baltimore 8-4 (4) - Is the NFL world starting to catch up with what I have been saying? The Ravens seem like a Super Bowl contender until you peel back the layers. BMore struggles running the ball and their defense is aging in all the wrong spots.
  9. Green Bay 8-4 (9) - The best thing about the Packers win over San Francisco? Their throw back uniforms! Why do people hate it when teams wear them? I loved the Pack's.
  10. Kansas City 8-4 (10) - What a Sunday for KC head coach Todd Haley. First his team beats Denver, extracting revenge on Josh McDaniels causing McDaniels to lose his job, then the Raiders beat the Chargers effectively giving the Chiefs the AFC West.
