- New England 12-2 (1) - Was the scare on Sunday night against the Aaron Rodger-less Matt Flynn led Pack an aberration or was it a sign of something? Remember in '07 when the Pats closed out that undefeated season with some close games and clunkers? I say it was a one game issue and New England will be fine.
- Atlanta 12-2 (2) - Has there been a quieter 12-2 start to a season ever? The Falcons are all about to secure the one spot and home field advantage, yet I'm pretty sure Fox, CBS, and NBC have yet to show a single game this season.
- Philadelphia 10-4 (5) - For two quarters on Sunday I was ready to throw in the towel on the Eagles season. For the other two quarters I was making plans for a trip to Dallas in early February!
- Baltimore 10-4 (7) - All season I have said the Ravens didn't have the look of a Super Bowl contender. Finally, in week 15, Baltimore decides to run the ball with Ray Rice and they beat a legit team in New Orleans. I'm still not totally sold, but maybe BMore is starting to come around.
- New Orleans 10-4 (3) - The Saints should miss out on the NFC South and be forced into the Wild Card in the NFC. More than likely they will be rewarded with a trip to an NFC West team for game one in the playoffs. Not exactly the worst fate ever for a defending Super Bowl champ, right?
- Pittsburgh 10-4 (4) - The offense is struggling to score points and the defense is banged up. The Ravens may be surging and the Steelers may be going the exact opposite way.
- Chicago 10-4 (6) - The Bears won the NFC North! Two more wins, or an Eagles loss, and Chicago is the two seed in the NFC. You still don't believe in them do you?
- New York Jets 10-4 (NR) - Lost in the win at hurting Pittsburgh is the fact that the Jets still have major issues. The Jets last rushing TD came in week 5.
- San Diego 8-6 (NR) - Would anyone want to see the Chargers in the playoffs?
- Kansas City 9-5 (NR) - The Chiefs need to win out to save the world from another late San Diego run.
